Mindpearl Fiji commence outsourcing relationship with an international shipping and express courier company in Australia
Mindpearl has been awarded a contact centre outsourcing contract for an international shipping and express courier company with established operations in Australia. A dedicated team went live on the 6 May 2014 providing inbound and outbound duty collections customer service and support functions.
‘We are exceedingly pleased to add another renowned brand to our growing portfolio. We opened an international contact centre in Fiji in 2009, as our fourth location globally. Today we support 13 international brands from Fiji. There is a surge to outsource in Australia at the moment, but many companies want onshore. Once they realise the cost savings and evaluate the quality, there is no argument against Fiji as a nearshore alternative. Over the next few years, we expect to grow the BPO industry in Fiji by servicing more Australian brands,’ commented Mark Mahoney, General

In April 2014, Fiji was shortlisted for the European Outsourcing Association (EOA) Awards as Offshoring Destination of the
Year confirming its status as a quality BPO destination. This follows Fiji’s shortlisting for the National Outsourcing Association (NOA) Awards in 2013 for the same category.
