Mindpearl, award winning international contact centre outsourcer, recently attended the Women in Business (WIB) awards in Fiji held in March 2015. This premier event is a notable part of Fiji’s business calendar. Fiji currently does not have adequate representation of women in business and commerce; these awards bring awareness to this cause and celebrate the commercial achievements of women and businesses that are impacting the advancement of women in Fiji.

This includes a longstanding commitment to increase the number of women in leadership roles, educating and enhancing the commercial skills of women at various levels of our organisation and empowering women for leadership positions. Movina was nominated for the Manager of the of the Year award category. In addition, Mindpearl was nominated for the ‘Employer of Choice for Women’ award. ‘Mindpearl will continue supporting worthy initiatives such as these, as we strive to impact the communities around us.’ added Ingo.

This is the premier event of its kind in the country and a notable part of Fiji’s business calendar. Women in Business (WIB) was founded in 1998 in response to the lack of an organisation which provides women in commerce and business a platform for exchange of ideas and information to promote and facilitate the economic and commercial interest of women.
